Tablescaping Just Got
Chicer With Goldie Home
We reconnected with Sara Roberts at an afternoon of shopping highlighting female founders and their brands, from tabletop to fine jewelry, at Kerri Rosenthal this summer in Westport. After the one day event we seemed to spot Rooberts' line, Goldie Home, on the shelves, in all the chicest shops like the Sagaponack General Store. We needed to learn more, still remembering the picnic plaid cross-hatch maize and blue napkins for a University of Michigan-themed lunch we were planning.
Goldie Home is a modern, textiles brand specializing in table linens and pillows. Founded by Sara Roberts in 2021, the brand celebrates the moments we spend at the table with friends and family by bringing art to the table. All the prints are Sara’s paintings designed in New York City and made in Portugal using 100% European linen. The collection is designed to mix, match, and have fun layering with color and pattern. Easy to wash, they are perfect for weeknight meals, fabulous dinner parties, and everything in between.
After spending her career of close to twenty years working in fashion and publishing, Sara decided to pivot when she rediscovered not only her love for painting but also the tremendous joy she took in dining with her family over a beautifully set table. She decided to combine these two loves and launch Goldie Home. Sold in stores all over the country and through her e-shop, Goldie Home helps people set gorgeous tables designed for celebrating and fun.
NEW for Summer is both the painted cross-hatch in blue and a citrine yellow - the ones we loved so much - and the porto print in indigo and olive. The colors and prints are perfect for Summer entertaining and of course make the perfect host gift!
