The 20 Most Anticipated Openings of 2025

Here’s what’s new for your 2025 rotation:

 

Ănăn

A short distance from Nômade in WESTPORT is the petite  property, formerly occupied by 190 Main, which will become a small 50 seat sister restaurant will have a different concept to the range of international cuisine, featuring dishes from different culinary traditions, including Morocco, Hungary and France. The name of new eatery is Ănăn, French Vietnamese with Asian infusion flare. You heard it here first. 

 

Athleto Pilates

We got a sneak peek of Athleto Pilates in WILTON with Kyla Scott, a Pilates expert with 20+ years of experience. Blending classical and contemporary methods, Kyla has helped athletes—from golfers to tennis players—boost strength, balance, and prevent injuries. Whether you’re a desk worker or athlete, Athleto is the place to watch for toning and transformation.

 

Bar Bushido

Bar Bushido from Taproot and Taproot Next Door chef and owner Jeff Taibe is our one-to-watch this year. Located in NORWALK on Wall Street the izakaya spot is going to be hot.  

 

BARVIDA

We shared an exclusive first look of the new BARVIDA opening on Greenwich Ave. Stay tuned for a sneak peek before it opens. From juices to bowls we keep begging for a locale in our hometown of Westport which we hear is in the works. Until then, lucky you GREENWICH, lucky you. 

 

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is set to open later this month with a full bar, elevated pub bites, 5 state-of-the-art golf and multisport simulators, 2 private karaoke rooms, 2 dart bays, and an epic TV wall. Local founders Tim and Emily Zobl can’t wait to bring this fresh, dynamic activity space to the WESTPORT and Fairfield County community! 

 

DeCicco’s

The community is clamoring for the first CT location of DeCicco’s opening in GREENWICH summer of 2025. The market is known for a superior shopping experience with a famous Italian bakery, fresh produce, and prepared foods. DeCicco & Sons Naturally will also be featured, offering meats from partner farms that align with the company’s core values of humanely raised animals without using antibiotics or added hormones. 

 

Delamar Westport 

Delamar Westport is set to open in WESTPORT in 2025, featuring 86 luxurious rooms (some suites designed in collab with Christian Siriano), the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Dandelion, an outdoor bar and lounge, private event spaces, a fitness center, and an indoor pool. We got a sneak peek of Dandelion, where vibrant Mediterranean flavors meet a modern take on ‘cuisine du soleil,’ which has delicious food in the most stunning space. 

 

Fatto A Mano

Our favorite bakery Fatto A Mano under the helm of baker Pierluigi Mazzella is opening what will be a stunning rustic new shop in WESTPORT. The artisanal Italian micro-bakery specializes in all naturally leavened products: sourdough bread, focaccia, panettone, and pastries. Plus we’re really excited for true Italian coffee. So many know his baked goods from the Westport Farmers Market and his new home next to Fjord Fish Market (in the former Ayr Barns space) feels just right. 

 

The Foundry

With it’s contemporary American seasonal cuisine, uncompromising service, and commanding, panoramic view of the city, The Foundry is getting ready to make a major impact on the HARTFORD dining landscape. Opening January 16th, reservations are now available on their website!

 

Just Salad 

Salad spots are a plenty suddenly in WESTPORT and the highly anticipated opening of Just Salad is on the horizon in 2025. From reusable bowls to a plant-centric menu, their menu features ingredients like fresh organic and non-GMO produce, grass-fed beef, sustainable seafood, and antibiotic-free chicken.

La Plage 

La Plage will be located in the new Delamar MYSTIC property, a waterfront casual restaurant and oyster bar showcasing a coastal cuisine focused on locally harvested seafood and shellfish, garden fresh ingredients. This sister locale to the Westport one is part of the property’s grand opening. 

 

Lyfe Café

Locals are excited to welcome Lyfe Café a sister to spot to nearby Pizza Lyfe in WESTPORT. They will offer breakfast sandwiches, bagels, salads, bowls, baked goods, coffee, smoothies, and juices in a chic new all day café setting.

 

Penny Linn Designs

Hand painted needlepoint canvases, accessories, and bags from Penny Linn Designs will have a new home in ROWAYTON. The chic and cheeky designs are made with love from Connecticut. We’re excited for this new hub of creativity. 

 

Beloved iconic pizza spot Sally’s Apizza is in major expansion mode. 2025 brings new locations across CT. in FARMINGTON, NORWALK, NEWINGTON and SOUTH WINDSOR. 

 

Second Street

Second Street on Main Street in WESTPORT will have a mix of designer resale and vintage. The secondary market is on fire and it will be interesting to watch locals sell, trade, share and buy. We’ve already been promised a VIP pre-look before it opens which we’ll share with our community. 

 

Sift Bake Shop

Sift Bake Shop is opening their 4th Sift location in UNCASVILLE inside Mohegan Sun located in the winter entrance. The bakery will also feature ATY Bar & Bonbons, a chocolate shop and martini bar and is slated to open April 2025. We highly recommend looking at the music lineup at Mohegan Sun Arena if you are adventure planning. It includes everyone from Blake Shelton to Billy Joel. 

 

Sweathouz

Sweathouz opens its doors in WESTPORT.  The ultimate cold plunge and infrared sauna studio will be your new sanctuary for wellness to rejuvenate mind, body, and soul.

 

Target

Signs are up and construction is underway at the new Target location in NORWALK in the former Walmart space. The 117,215-square-foot store will join locations in Stamford, Trumbull and the new one at the Danbury Fair mall. We can’t wait to shop the Studio McGee home décor collection nearby.

Van Leeuwen

Van Leeuwen’s 4th CT. location will open in WESTPORT on Church Lane right between The Blondinit and the new Crepe Choupette. The beloved CT. based founders of the frozen treat company also have scoop shops in New Canaan, Darien and Greenwich.

 

Wegmans

Wegmans first Connecticut location is opening in …. NORWALK! Set to open summer of ‘25 we’ll be here …. waiting (not patiently).
