Connecticut Children's Foundation Panel Discussion

At the launch of Connecticut Children's Spring Salon Series co-hosts Lindsay Czarniak
and Samantha yanks, Editor-in-Chief of Westport Magazine and Co-Founder of The Connecticut Edit, joined Chair of the Connecticut Children’s Fairfield County Events and Engagement Committee Andi Sklar and Connecticut Children’s Associate Vice President of Ambulatory Pediatrics and a Community Development Robyn Matloff to bring together a dynamic group of guests to hear Doctor’s Robyn Matloff, Christine Rader, Annette Vannilam and Steven Rogers share about the 20+ pediatric specialties, imaging and therapy services available locally in their Westport Campus and cutting edge research and technology throughout the state’s only health care system exclusively dedicated to children.  

 

The panel discussion followed by a Q+A was a forum for an engaged discussion about topics including pediatric and adolescent mental health, suicide prevention, the impact of gut health in children, an overview of childhood kidney disease and tips on picking a pediatric surgeon.  

 

Guests enjoyed locally sourced bites at Birchwood Country Club with a surprise visit from the Curbside Confections candy truck as attendees departed.
