A very chic first look ahead of the soft opening of Lykos Taverna, a beautiful new modern Greek taverna in Darien from chef/co-owner Jonathan Lemon.



At Lykos Taverna, the menu is perfectly edited and focused on fresh ingredients, locally and globally sourced. Here are some highlights we’re already excited about:


Dips & Mezedes you’ll want to start with
  • Creamy tzatziki

  • Hummus with roasted garlic and crisp black chickpeas

  • Babaganoush with charred eggplant and black garlic 


Salads with classic Mediterranean balance
  • Village salad with aged feta, olives, tomato & cucumber

  • Tahini Caesar with parmesan, romaine & preserved egg 


Mezé & Skewers to share
  • Halloumi with sour cherry & lavender honey

  • Charred octopus with fava hummus and pickled mustard seeds

  • Moroccan chicken skewers with turmeric herb rub

  • Seared wagyu with a peppercorn reduction 


Main Dishes 
  • Swordfish steak with fennel dill chimichurri

  • King tiger prawns with harissa & yellow pepper purée

  • Lamb ribs glazed with brown sugar and accented with pickled radish
