Alex Katz exhibit “A bit of everything" at Craven Contemporary

The art scene this summer in Kent, CT, is on fire. The latest opening is Craven Contemporary’s solo Alex Katz exhibit, “A bit of everything.” Founder Andrew Craven gave us an exclusive first look at the curated selection of prints by the artist, including flowers, trees, landscapes, and portraits, which is on view through October 5th.

Rather smartly, there is an Alex Katz exhibit, “A bit of everything II,” which runs concurrently on Artsy.

Early interest has been heavy for the surprisingly well-priced works from Katz, an American figurative artist known for his paintings, sculptures, and prints, whose bold simplicity and heightened colors are considered precursors to Pop Art.

More information is available upon request at Craven Contemporary
